Senior Socials

Second Friday of Each Month

11a.m.-12:00 Noon     Learning Center

Offered once each month, our seniors gather for refreshments and socialization.  There are different topics, guest speakers, and various informational events held every month. Free to members.

Fitness Programs

 

AOA Strength Training♥

This is 30 minute strength training class using various pieces of equipment such as hand weights, stretch cords, body bars and exercise balls for the Active Older Adult or for those just getting back into exercise.  Class will include stretching at the end.

 

Basic Yoga♥

Slow, gentle postures and movements are combined with an emphasis on breathing, balance, strength and flexibility. Ideal for those who prefer a lighter workout.

 

Morning Movers♥

Designed for the Active Older Adult AOA) in mind, learn a variety of exercises that you can do anywhere! From cardiovascular and strengthening exercises, to balance and flexibility, this class will surely keep you mindful of your body for many years to come!

 

silversneakersSilverSneakers® : The SilverSneakers fitness program is offered in partnership with select health plans at no additional cost to Medicare-eligible members. Each member is entitled to a basic membership at a SilverSneakers Fitness Center. The classes offer multi-level equipment based strength and conditioning exercises. These exercises are designed to improve strength, and flexibility assisting with the ability to perform functional activities. The classes re offered two times a week and taught by caring, accredited instructors.
