Age Child Care (SACC) (Grades K-4) (TOP)
The YMCA offers a BEFORE
and AFTER school program within the Fayetteville-Manilus school
district. The School Age Child Care (SACC) Program reinforces
positive values in a caring atmosphere. The children build
confidence, trust, and positive values by making friends and taking
part in group projects and activities where fair play, team work
and responsibility are emphasized. For more information regarding
this program, please refer to the SACC Parent Handbook.
For information on after school programs for youth in Grades 5-7 please refer to our Teen Club program listed under Teens.
Before
School Program (TOP)
This program begins at 6:30 am and is loosely structured for the
flexibility to allow for children arriving at various times. This
program provides a light breakfast and casual activities.
After
School Program (TOP)
Our program will provide quality childcare that the parents can
rely upon throughout the school calendar year. The SACC program
is held at the East Area Family YMCA for children in the FM school
district. The children will be bused to the YMCA after school and
the program will run until 6 pm. The program will provide a variety
of activities including arts and crafts, character development activities,
gym games, swimming, recreational activities, and free time. A snack
is provided.
Kinder
Kids Program (TOP)
The Kinder Kids children are bused to the YMCA after school for
programming until 6 pm. The Kinder Kids program includes a wide
variety of activities including group games, crafts, character development
activities, swimming lessons, free play, and lunch. A snack is provided.
Full
Day Schedules (TOP)
On days when school is not in session, childcare is offered from
6:30 am until 6 pm. Full day program schedules vary eith planned
activities. Please send your child with a bag lunch, bathing suit,
and towel. Breakfast will not be served on these days. Parents are
notified of these days off by the school district calendar. This
service is included in your monthly payments.
Snow
Days (TOP)
When a snow day occurs we will provide service from 6:30 am until
6 pm at the YMCA. Please send your
child with a bag lunch, bathing suit, and towel. Breakfast will
not be served on these days. This service is included in your monthly
payments.
Holiday
Schedule (TOP)
The school year consists of 3 holiday vacation weeks; these weeks
are not included in your monthly fee. Spring Break, Winter Recess
and Christmas Break. This week is open to the community; we register
on a first come, first serve basis. Please note your monthly
payment schedule is not effected.

Days

On days that there are only half days of school the YMCA will operate
programs. Children will be bused to the YMCA for programming until
6 pm. Please send your child with a
bag lunch, bathing suit, and towel as needed.

Delays (TOP)
When the school is on a delay, the morning program will still be
available at 6:30 am for programming.
School
Emergency Evacuations
(TOP)
When schools are closed early because of snow or an emergency, children
will be bused to the YMCA. Please pick them up as soon as possible
as notified by child care staff.
The
YMCA childcare program does not operate on the following days: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
