Arts Studio Philosophy Exposure to the arts has immeasurable benefits. By participating in the arts children, teens and adults develop skills of critical thinking, self-confidence, and self-expression. These skills strengthen the sense of individual and community identity while building a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The Arts Studio at the East Area Family YMCA strives to make the arts accessible to all ages and abilities by offering a wide variety of classes in visual arts, music and dance.
